The Gulf Coast Trauma Symposium educates providers in our region who treat critically injured patients. The symposium will feature a number of nationally recognized speakers discussing prehospital care for injured patients, while also highlighting the importance of injury prevention and systems of care. Mitchell Lecture serves as a platform to educate and convey trauma awareness to healthcare providers and residents of the Mobile area. Car crashes are one of the leading causes of death among young people.
